Pedro Antunes, Director of Vera Navis and SSI representative for Iberia, will share his expert knowledge of SSI’s flagship product, ShipConstructor, and unveil the groundbreaking new features in the latest release regarding piping, distributed work, and 2D Associative DWG based drawing creation from the 3D model. He will highlight how ShipConstructor’s innovative technology, integrated work environment and associative production output help increase effectiveness, efficiency and quality in his job.

Unveiling of ShipConstructor 2014 at Nor-Shipping

Mr. Antunes will formally unveil ShipConstructor 2014, one of SSI's most important software releases ever. The latest version features an enhanced user interface. More importantly, significant new products have been added to the software suite with dramatically improved capabilities for piping designers as well as enhanced capabilities for the reuse of design work. Most noteworthy is an innovative new product called MarineDrafting which enables the creation of 2D DWG based approval and workshop drawings directly from the 3D model. These drawings remain associatively linked to the model to accommodate change. Added together, ShipConstructor 2014 provides a feature set that is unmatched in the industry.
