ShipConstructor Developer Network (SCDN)

SCDN_LogoIt is our goal to create a ShipConstructor Developer Network (SCDN) community that provides the best solutions to shipbuilders worldwide.

The SCDN community is intended for:

  • Commercial Partners: 3rd party developers developing software solutions for resale to ShipConstructor users. As a Commercial Partner, joining forces with ShipConstructor presents a significant opportunity to promote and market your company through the SCDN. Together, we will help our joint customers to excel in a competitive market.
  • Client Partners: ShipConstructor users wanting to develop in-house solutions to utilize the full power of the ShipConstructor product model. As a Client Partner, you will be able to enjoy significant cost savings and quality improvements by interfacing the wealth of information stored in the ShipConstructor product model databases with related company processes such as enterprise resource planning, accounting, and production automation equipment.

There are many benefits to joining the SCDN, of which only a few are:

  • The marketing of your company and product(s) on this website along with the release and publication of any or all success stories that come from the SCDN partnership.
  • Sales support in the form of regular communication with an assigned SSI contact person
  • Software and technical support including ShipConstructor licenses, documentation, and involvement in the ShipConstructor Beta program.
  • Application Programming Interface (API) training and Mentor Weeks.

How to get started:

  1. Read through our brief 3-page SCDN Program Guide (92KB/pdf).
  2. Complete the SCDN Application Form (158KB/doc) and send it back to SSI for evaluation. Please allow some time for the analysis of the proposed partnership.
